How we work, and how we are paid

Plug2UAE is an independent company formation consultancy. We help founders in the UK and across Africa set up in the right UAE free zone, get the visa and banking done, and stay compliant afterwards.

How we are paid — plainly

We are a registered channel partner with several free zone authorities, which means we earn a margin on the licences we file. We also charge for visa processing, banking support and ongoing accounting. That is the whole model; there is nothing else.

This matters because it creates an obvious incentive to sell you an expensive zone. We have tried to design against that: our free zone pages list the drawbacks alongside the benefits, our calculator shows the cheap options even when they earn us less, and our guides say out loud that most solo founders should pick a low-cost zone.

You should still check our advice against an independent adviser. We will tell you when that is essential.

What we are not

We are not a law firm and not a tax adviser. We do not give legal or tax advice and nothing on this site is advice for your situation. For anything touching your tax residence, your home country’s exit rules or your exchange-control position, you need a qualified professional in your own jurisdiction, and we will say so rather than guess.

What we actually cover

All 46 UAE free zones across the seven emirates. We hold partner agreements with a subset and can introduce you to the rest. Where a zone we cannot file is genuinely the better fit, we will say that too.
